Bushbaby Lodge

Bushbaby Lodge is situated in the African bush inside Marloth Park Nature Reserve only a few kilometres from the N4 highway between Malelane and Komatipoort.

Welcome to the African Bush where Nature and African Wildlife meet. Situated in a very secluded area of Marloth Park Nature Reserve under big Bushveld trees where a variety of game and birds will be your hosts during your visit. Kudu, Zebra, Warthog, Impala, Duiker, Bushbuck, Blue Wildebeest, Njala, Giraffe, Ostridge, Helmeted Guineafowl, Mongoose, Baboon and Monkeys are regular visitors to Bushbaby Lodge. Look out for the lovely Bush babies that will visit you after sunset.

Accommodation is offered in a 3 sleeper and/or a 6 sleeper. Both units can be booked to sleep 9 people in total. The units are fully equipped, self-catering with air-conditioning. Each unit has its own private campfire / braai area. The two units are within walking distance of each other and around 400m from the Crocodile River. Make use of the communal splash pool during hot summer days and nights. The units will service the units every day - except public holidays.

The lodge is conveniently situated only a few minutes’ drive from the Crocodile River, bordering the Kruger National Park, from where you can do game viewing from your vehicle into the Kruger Park. Crocodile Bridge and Malelane entrance gates to the Southern part of the world-famous Kruger National Park is only a few kilometre away. It is conveniently situated for day visits to the Kruger National Park with Crocodile Bridge gate around 15 km away from Marloth Park. Spoil your family and do the lovely Panorama route – Visit Sabi and Graskop, The world-famous Gorge lift, The big swing and zipline, God’s Window, the Pothole and lots of waterfalls during a day outing. It is also close to Komatipoort and the Mozambique and Swaziland borders. At Bushbaby Lodge you can relax around the campfire while enjoying the sounds of nature.

It is not uncommon to hear the lions roar as well as the hyenas and hippos in the Crocodile River. Bushbaby lodge is covered by Field security - a Very reliable security company - that will assist in any emergency. Each unit has its own security system. BUSH LODGE (Free Wifi)

This unit can be booked on its own for up to 6 people, or in conjunction with Baby Lodge for families up to 9 people. They are walking distance from each other, but each unit is fully self contained. You will have your own big thatched lapa close to the kitchen with ceiling fans witch is great for outdoor living, game viewing, entertaining & dining.

• 3 air-conditioned bedrooms and two bathrooms. One with a bath and the second one with shower.
• Open-plan air-conditioned living area with large flat screen Tv. Open View.
• A fully equip kitchen with cutlery, crockery, pots; pans, icemaker, fridge and electrical appliances.
• The Thatched lapa, with roof fans, form part of the lodge and is ideal for 'armchair' game- viewing. It is a delightful general living/dining & entertainment area with a braai area and easy access to the kitchen. 
• A wooden deck, also under thatch, serves as a game hide. Excellent for birdwatching and a real bush experience for those who want to sleep out and experience the nocturnal creatures, especially the Bushbabies that visit at night!
• A boma for a braai and campfire during the evenings.
• Use of the splash pool to cool off during the hot days and nights.
