We are a small business that prides itself on the quality of our products.
We are certified to handle, sell and work on all types of leather and are able to issue certificates to enable legal transport out of South Africa.
Here at Katundo Leather, we use authentic South African leather, as well as leather that originates from adjacent African countries. Our leather is from legal and sustainable sources
Founder
Katundo Leather was founded by Andrew Broekman. He has been in the industry for over 30 years. He is very driven and has Built Katundo Leather with Blood sweat and Tears. He is the glue that holds the company together. He always says it’s easy to do what you love, then it’s not hard work at all.
Founders Partner
Mel Julie Adendorff joined Katundo Leather after a long career in The Addo National Park. An experienced Equestrian manager as well as Boma Manager with many Buffalo, Rhino and various other species been very well looked after by Mel.
Mel has worked tirelessly in getting the shop going pre Covid. She is very focussed and pushes this part of Katundo Leather with all her Heart.

We focus our production on Nile Crocodile and Ostrich. We have found a niche in this market and our top-quality Wallets are recognized for this Worldwide.

With our Ladies Purses, our focus has always been functioning and convenience foremost. Our quality styles are only made in Genuine Nile Crocodile and Ostrich Leather.

This is where Katundo Leather started. Belts has always been our first love. Our Braided belts are worn Worldwide and are recognized for the quality of materials we use to make them. The durability and long service clients get out of our belts is testament to what we put into every belt we make.
