WHISPERING THORNS is a picturesque guest farm situated in White River, in the heart of the north eastern part of Mpumalanga, close to the Kruger National Park. The farm boasts a charming glass venue and chapel, along with a country guest house, which lends itself to a unique setting in which couples are able to experience their dream wedding. The contemporary design of our glass facaded venue and chapel, allow guests to encounter that perfect “get away” feeling. The farm is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the Lowveld. We offer an exquisite stay whilst being surrounded by the delightful backdrop of the panorama of the grassland of the Lowveld.

We are so EXCITED to be a part of the first steps of your wedding planning journey. We offer an excellent team consisting of an in house bespoke floral designer, wedding coordinator and bridal consultant. The perfect wedding expert team to help plan unforgettable weddings.
ACCOMMODATION
Combining an atmosphere of country charm and contemporary design, the guest HOUSE is ideal for overnight guests attending Weddings, Conferences and Functions at our Glass Venue or at other Venues in the surrounding area. The spacious double storey homestead offers 11 stylishly decorated double bedrooms. All rooms treat guests to luxurious bed linen, shower and pampering toiletries, satellite TV and a coffee/tea station.
The various lounge areas and outside patio ensure a restful retreat after a busy day exploring the Lowveld.
The Whispering Thorns Guest House Comprises:
1 deluxe honeymoon suite with en suite bathroom.
11 deluxe twin rooms with en suite bathrooms
(The guest house can accommodate a maximum of 22 adults and 4 children under 4 years) – parents to provide own bedding and mattress for children.
The communal lounge, dining area, kitchenette and petite veranda has stunning views of leeukop.
